Stories written for those who linger after the light is gone

At Ink & Crescent, I want every reader to feel good about bringing one of my stories home. If something isn’t right with your order, here’s how returns, refunds, and exchanges work.

Ebook Purchases

Because ebooks are delivered instantly as digital files, all ebook sales are final and non-refundable once the download link has been sent. This is standard practice for digital goods, since a delivered file can’t be “returned.”

The one exception: if your file is corrupted, incomplete, or the wrong title entirely, contact me within 7 days of purchase and I’ll send a replacement file or issue a full refund, no questions asked.

Paperback Orders

Paperback orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return:

  • The book must be unread and in the same condition you received it, with no writing, creasing, or damage to the cover or pages.
  • It should be returned in its original packaging where possible.
  • You’ll need your order number or the email address used at checkout.

Unless the return is due to an error on my end (see below), the cost of return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Once your returned book is received and inspected, I’ll notify you by email and process your refund to the original payment method.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your paperback arrives damaged, defective, or isn’t what you ordered, I’ll make it right at no cost to you. Please reach out within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and I’ll send a replacement or a full refund, including original shipping costs, your choice.

How to Request a Return or Refund

Email krystyna.n.kramer@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return. I’ll get back to you within 2 business days with next steps.

Refund Timing

Once a refund is approved, it’s issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. The exact time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or your situation doesn’t quite fit the categories above, just email krystyna.n.kramer@gmail.com and I’ll help sort it out.
